Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility

Fees relate to professional services such as subscription churn diagnostics, retention reviews, pathway audits, and exit synthesis. Refunds depend on how much work has started and whether a deposit was paid under a written proposal.

Timeframe

Cancellation requests should be emailed to contact@desktop-lagoonpath.click at least seven clear days before the agreed kickoff date for a full deposit refund, unless the proposal states a different window.

Full and partial refunds

If we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of sums paid for undelivered work. If you cancel after kickoff, we refund unused portions after deducting time already spent on intake, interviews, and analysis, documented in writing.

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables already accepted, third-party room hire booked at your request, and non-refundable travel purchased with your written approval are non-refundable.

Process

Send a refund request with your proposal reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days and, where approved, process the refund within fourteen working days to the original payment method.

Rescheduling and no-shows

Working sessions may be rescheduled once without charge when at least forty-eight hours’ notice is given. Late cancellations or no-shows for booked sessions may be charged at the session rate stated in the proposal.

Work already started and materials

Analysis begun on materials you supplied remains billable for the hours completed. We do not purchase physical materials as part of standard engagements; if exceptional purchases are agreed, they are itemised and generally non-refundable once ordered.

Deposits

Kickoff deposits secure diary time. Unused deposit amounts follow the cancellation rules above.
